Where we work
While our US offices are in New York, Washington, D.C., and Silicon Valley, international work is in our DNA
Name the country and we likely have an office and or a client in it. In fact, because of our cross-border expertise, a third of our work comes from countries where we don’t have an office.
In the last three years, we’ve helped clients in over 150 jurisdictions. So, when you work here, there will be few days when you’re not in contact with someone from another country. We also encourage both travel and secondments to other offices to grow networks and to increase efficiency, productivity and idea sharing.
Secondments
Freshfields secondments allow you to experience life in another office and time zone, and to learn how other teams across our network operate and how we all join up to advise the client. We encourage secondments – both internally between offices and departments and externally with clients and charities – because they help to broaden business knowledge and skills and enhance working relationships. Recent secondments have been in Brussels, London, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Palo Alto.
