About Aytaç Çelebi
Aytaç's practice encompasses all aspects of competition and international trade law. He works with clients from a range of business sectors, including financial services, energy, chemicals, construction, base metals, steel, automotive, textile, and agriculture. He speaks Turkish, English, French and Italian.
Competition law
Aytaç helps global corporate clients and financial investors navigate the antitrust and regulatory aspects of complex, cross-border M&A deals. He has particular experience in complex merger control proceedings before the European Commission and other global regulators, which often require remedies. He also advises clients on behavioural and antitrust compliance issues.
EU and international trade law
Aytaç helps clients optimise and improve their operations by guiding them through risks and opportunities across national, regional, and multilateral trade rules. Aytaç has significant experience in anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, safeguard and anti-circumvention investigations as well as reviews conducted by the EU and other WTO members. His practice also covers issues arising from the EU’s free trade agreements.
