About Dr. Verena Kirchmair
Verena is a member of our global IP and tech team, advising clients on intellectual property and technology law. Verena focuses on AI regulations and new legislation in the digital field, as well as on intellectual property disputes.
Verena was seconded to a client in the aviation industry to set up a comprehensive AI compliance program, and to a leading global tech company.
Before joining the firm, Verena worked at the European Commission (International data flows and protection unit) and as a research assistant at the University of Innsbruck.
She holds a PhD in data protection law from the University of Innsbruck and an LLM in IP law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Verena speaks English, German and French.
