About Byron Patton

Byron advises private equity sponsors, management teams, portfolio companies and strategic investors, as well as public companies, on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, carve-out transactions, reorganizations and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Freshfields, Byron worked as a M&A associate in the Chicago office of another international law firm. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Byron served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
