About Tuna Tanik
Tuna is a principal associate in our Antitrust, Competition and Trade team. Based in Brussels, her practice spans all aspects of EU competition law, multi-jurisdictional merger control and cross-border antitrust and regulatory issues.
She has extensive experience of complex cross border merger control, including in-depth reviews by and remedies negotiations with the European Commission and authorities in other jurisdictions.
Tuna speaks English, French and Turkish.

- Adobe in relation to the EU merger control proceedings of its proposed $20bn acquisition of Figma, Inc.
- Aon in relation to the EU merger control aspects of its proposed $29.9bn merger with Willis Tower Watson, securing conditional Phase II clearance in the EU.
- Siemens on the worldwide merger control proceedings of the proposed transformative combination of Siemens’ and Alstom’s mobility businesses.
- Global Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of a majority interest in VTG AG, a leading European railcar lessor.
- Warburg Pincus, APAX, CPPIB and OTPPB in relation to the global merger control aspects and national security / foreign investment reviews of its £2.6bn acquisition of Inmarsat, a leading satellite service provider.
- Merck on the €3.4bn sale of its consumer healthcare business to P&G.
- Norsk Hydro in relation to the EU merger control aspects of its acquisition of Alumetal, securing an unconditional Phase II clearance.
