Zoe specialises in M&A and private equity transactions for private equity sponsors and other financial investors in transactions across Europe and across a range of sectors.

Zoe is based in our London office and during her time at Freshfields has spent time on secondment to the Freshfields' New York office and 8 months seconded to Hellman & Friedman's in-house legal team. 

Recent work

• Cinven on its majority investment in Grant Thornton UK;
• Permira and Blackstone on a €14 billion take-private offer for Adevinta ASA, a European online classifieds business, and on Adevinta's sale of its shares in Distilled, Ireland's leading online classifieds company;
• TeamSystem and its majority owner, Hellman & Friedman, including the sale of a minority stake to Silver Lake Partners, ADIA and CapitalG and the acquisition of a stake from Hg;
• CVC Growth Funds on a significant minority investment in TOPdesk;
• RVU (jointly owned by US-based Red Ventures, Silver Lake, GIC and PSP Investments) on its acquisition of Tempcover, a provider of temporary insurance solutions;
• AEA Investors on the acquisition of Polygon Group;
• GIC on its venture capital investments in Checkout.com;
• CVC on its strategic partnership in secondaries with Glendower Capital;
• Cinven on its investment in Ufinet;
• Allfunds Group and its majority owner, Hellman & Friedman, on the €7.2bn initial public offering of Allfunds Group;
• Nets and its majority owner, Hellman & Friedman, on the €7.8bn all-share merger of Nets into Nexi;
• Nets and its majority owner, Hellman & Friedman, on the €2.85bn sale of its Corporate Services business to Mastercard; and
• CVC Capital Partners on its agreement to dispose of its majority stake in Sky Betting and Gaming to The Stars Group Inc. in a cash-and-shares transaction valued at approximately US$4.7 billion.
