Whether your company is using off-the-shelf software to screen applicants or developing its own proprietary AI offerings, you will need to be prepared for new U.S. privacy law restrictions coming into effect in 2023. As of January 1, 2023, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) will expand existing obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and four other states are already in line with new consumer data privacy laws of their own.

Topics covered will include new restrictions and requirements related to:

  • Data sharing and disclosures
  • Use of personal information for targeted advertising
  • Profiling and automated decision-making
  • Data protection assessments
