Freshfields advises H.I.G. Capital on the acquisition of Lagardère Sports
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has advised H.I.G. Capital on the acquisition of the sports marketing business, Lagardère Sports, which is part of the Lagardère Group. The Lagardère Group will retain a minority stake. The transaction is subject to clearance by the relevant antitrust authorities.
H.I.G. Capital is a leading global private equity investment firm with over €31bn of equity capital under management and specialises in providing capital to small and medium-sized companies. Freshfields regularly advises H.I.G. Capital on national and international transactions.
