Freshfields represents HPE in acquisition of Silver Peak for $925 million
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer ("Freshfields") is advising Hewlett Packard Enterprise ("HPE") on its purchase of Silver Peak, the leading software-defined wide area networks company, for $925 million. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of HPE’s fiscal year 2020, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.John Fisher, Head of Tech & Life Sciences M&A and one of seven founding partners of the Freshfields Silicon Valley office, observed, “We’re seeing ambitious tech transactions from our clients notwithstanding the challenges of the pandemic.
