Freshfields advises ams OSRAM on the sale of its Digital Systems business in North America to Acuity
A team from Freshfields is advising ams OSRAM Group (“ams OSRAM”) on the sale of its North America-Based Digital System (DS) business to Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE: AYI) (“Acuity”). The transaction is expected to close during the summer of 2021.
ams OSRAM’s North America-based Digital System business is one of the largest LED lighting driver companies in North America and manufactures lighting components including LED drivers, LED light engines, electronic ballasts, and certain connected components.
