Law360 Names Santiago Gatica an International Arbitration Rising Star
Santiago Gatica, senior associate in Freshfields’ international arbitration group in New York, has been named an International Arbitration Rising Star by Law360.
The Rising Stars award highlights the top legal talent under 40 who are practicing at a level seen by veteran attorneys. Winners are hand-selected by Law360’s editorial team.
A deeply respected leader in international arbitration, Gatica joined Freshfields as a Foreign Associate in 2017, after receiving his LLM from Harvard Law School and working for several years in leading law firms in Uruguay and China. He has acted in both investment and commercial arbitrations under the main international arbitration rules, and has advised clients in many multi-billion-dollar bet-the company international arbitrations in a wide variety of sectors.
A few months ago,Freshfields’ market-leading international arbitration team won the 2022 Law360 Practice Group of the Year Award for international arbitration for the 5th time in the past 6th years.
