Freshfields Partner Kristen Riemenschneider Awarded Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year at 2024 Women in Business Law Awards
Freshfields partner Kristen Riemenschneider was recognized by Women in Business Law Americas Awards as the Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year. She was awarded at the gala ceremony at The Union League Club, New York on June 13th.
Kristen is an experienced IP transactions lawyer focusing exclusively on the life sciences sector. She represents global pharmaceutical companies to early-stage biotech companies on their most strategic matters, including complex carve-outs, licenses and collaborations, options to license, and highly bespoke commercial arrangements.
In addition to being recognized as the Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year, Kristen was also shortlisted for Thought Leadership Lawyer of the Year.
Freshfields also had five other lawyers shortlisted for awards:

The Women in Business Law Americas Awards aim to honor women in the forefront of legal work in business law and those firms that have produced initiatives and programs to support and encourage women and diversity within the industry. The program recognizes up and coming women lawyers in their field and champion firms who have encouraged the growth of women talent in their countries and globally.
