Freshfields Appoints New Global Chief People Officer

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has today announced the appointment of Neelima Paladugu as Global Chief People Officer (CPO), effective from September 2024.

Based in New York, Paladugu will lead the firm’s global people strategy, playing a central role in shaping and delivering the vision and strategic objectives of Freshfields through its people. She will drive forward the firm’s commitment to retain and attract talent, culture, skills and capabilities, and operational infrastructure globally to deliver a firm of the future.

Paladugu brings nearly 30 years’ experience having lived and worked in the U.S., India, Australia and New Zealand. She has extensive professional services experience delivering talent development initiatives and change management programmes on a global scale within matrix organisations such as Deloitte, IBM, PwC and Dentons.
