Freshfields Receives Top Rankings in 2025 Legal 500 Latin America Guide

Freshfields has received multiple top rankings in the 2025 Legal 500 Latin America guide, an annual guide to the top international law firms in the Latin America market. For the 16th consecutive year, the firm is ranked Tier 1 for International Arbitration. Legal 500 noted, “Freshfields is a global leader in international arbitration and its longstanding focus on Latin America has brought major rewards.”

Freshfields also received rankings in Corporate/M&A and Projects and Energy. On the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice, Legal 500 stated, “Freshfields’s rapid expansion in the US has resulted in increased exposure to Latin America M&A transactions, with the firm now achieving a significant market share of larger deals involving the region.” Corporate/M&A counsel Enrique Dancausa was also individually ranked among the leading lawyers in the region, with additional recognitions for partners Andrea Basham and Paul Humphreys.
