South Korea
Freshfields in South Korea
Few, if any, other global law firms have a deeper understanding of South Korea’s legal landscape, political scene and business culture than ours.
Our core team members are fluent in Korean, have lived and worked in Korea both as foreign lawyers and foreign law consultants, and possess both JD and MBA degrees. We have built strong relationships with the best law firms in the country, along with its financial institutions and government agencies, often in challenging situations.
We deliver the highest quality legal advice to both Korean businesses and international clients working with Korean companies. Whether its arbitration proceedings or a joint venture involving a Korean entity, or the divestment of a Korean arm of an international business, we can help.
Backed by our global network, we help our clients fulfill the potential of Korea’s links with the biggest markets in the world – China, India, Japan, the US, the EU and the Middle East.
